Preparation of parts for installation

Before installation, it is advisable to always test proper fit of the parts by bringing parts into its intended position to understand the process of the whole installation. Meanwhile marking the outline of the parts for guideline during installation using removable marker if necessary.

Using a fine sand paper, remove all excess paint and other containment from contact surfaces if necessary. Work thoroughly, and clean all contact surfaces on parts with a Universal cleaner.

Start applying PU adhesive glue ( For parts fixation design with adhesive glue installation) or removing double sided tape ( For parts with tape installation) in the mark position and let parts to dry or set preferably over night before any washing.

Install all necessary bracket / screws that is required to hold the parts in place.

Avoid washing the water for the next 24 hour for the tape / glue to fully cure.

Understanding some basic information of the various bodykit materials , characteristic and the manufacturing process of it will help you determine which is the best choice of materials for your ride.

When installating a bodykit, we would always strongly advise our customer to have the kit / ground effect installed by a qualified body paint shop or auto shop which has experience handling bumper and car body parts.

Prior to installation to the car, the installer should test fit all the parts against the car body panel on the vehicle before any sanding or surface treatment work.
